Eligible Use of Funds:
Funds will be awardedfor operational costs. Examples of operational costs include but are not limited to equipment purchases, rent, insurance, wages, utility costs, sales, and accounting expenses.
Unallowable uses:
- Property and other taxes
- Lobbying
- Debt service
- To replenish financial reserves
- To satisfy any obligation resulting from a judgment or settlement
Application Documentation (FEIN must be visible, only redact SSNs)
Required application documents include but are not limited to the following:
- Original quotes and/or bids, for project materials that include dates, quantities, and unit prices associated at the time of the quote and/or bid along with supplier or subcontractor invoices and proofs of payment demonstrating an increase from the original quote and/or bid, due to commodity price increases
- Executed contract with the prime contractor if subcontractor is applying, or the Department of Transportation if the prime contractor is applying.
- A copy of the executed final pay application (final construction invoice) for the project
- copies of all final executed project change orders
- Explanation for cost increases and attestation that cost increases occurred due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
- Georgia Department of Revenue Clearance letter
